# Portal Menu Map

Complete reference for the `portal.diro.app` sidebar. The menus that appear follow your role's access rights — if a menu isn't visible, that role hasn't been given access to that module. See Staff, Roles & Access Rights.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Branches lives under the Settings menu, not Master Data.** This is often looked for in the wrong place.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
The **Balance** menu is the only way to withdraw funds. A role without access to this module can't request a withdrawal.
{% endhint %}

## Help

| Menu               | What it holds                                         |
| ------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| **Tutorial** | Video guides for using the portal. |
| **Template Files** | Sample files for importing customer and service data. |

## If a menu doesn't appear

Three possibilities, in order of how often they happen:

1. **Your role hasn't been given access** to that module. Check under **Master Data → Staff & Roles**.
2. **You were just given access** but haven't reloaded the portal. Refresh the page.
3. **The business subscription is inactive**, so some menus are restricted. See Subscription & Plans.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.diro.app/en/getting-started/portal-menu-map.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
